Historical Legacy of Dabhoda Mandir
Origin & Manifestation
The origin of Shree Dabhoda Hanumanji dates back several centuries when Dabhoda was a serene village surrounded by ancient banyan and neem trees. According to local lore and oral tradition, the self-manifested (Swayambhu) idol of Lord Hanumanji was discovered by local villagers and saintly ascetics who established regular worship.
Evolution of the Temple Premises
Over decades, what began as a humble brick sanctum evolved into a majestic temple complex built with traditional stone architecture. Devotees from nearby regions in Gujarat and across Rajasthan began gathering in large numbers, leading to the formal registration of the Dabhoda Hanuman Mandir Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act (Reg No. E/1423/GANDHINAGAR).
Modern Era & Expansion
In recent years, the Trust has undertaken extensive development projects, creating modern pilgrim queue complexes, air-conditioned satsang halls, solar energy installations, and expanded Mahaprasad dining areas capable of serving 5,000+ pilgrims simultaneously.
